Carefree Spirit
This mounding Shrub is very similar to Carefree Delight as it comes from the same breeding line but has better disease resistance, better growth habit, and improved bloom power. Carefree Spiritās bright, non-fading, cherry red 2 Ā½ā blossoms have a white eye and are produced in showy clusters in flushes during the blooming season. She is a 2009 AARS Winner and was selected as a Plant of Distinction in the 2014 UGA trials.
